Fall River/ Cologne, April 15, 2024 - We are pleased to announce the formation of our new subsidiary “Rimasys Inc.” as well as the opening of our office in Fall River, Massachusetts. As a leader in medical innovation and surgical solutions for education and training, this expansion is an exciting step in our mission to advance surgical excellence for the benefit of patients worldwide.
The decision to locate in Fall River, approximately 50 miles south of Boston, was driven by the dynamic medical landscape and promising opportunities on the East Coast of the United States. Fall River offers an ideal environment for the further development of our patented bone fractures with closed soft tissue mantle. Additionally, we have gained an outstanding partner in Fall River with Bioskills of the North East (BONE). “Fall River and BONE are a stroke of luck for Rimasys. We look forward to the American market and further new partnerships for the benefit of patients,” says Miriam Stadthalter, CEO of the Rimasys Group.
We would also like to express our gratitude to our university partners, the surgical community and our parent company, the AO Foundation. Their continued support and collaboration have helped us reach this milestone and will help us continue our commitment to excellence in surgical care.
Reinvent Surgical Education - Rimasys is a MedTech start-up founded in 2016 and develops practical and digital education and training opportunities for surgeons.
